Abstract: We present preliminary results of research investigating how the DAOS object store performs under a range of different object class configurations, data access interfaces, and application usage patterns. We demonstrate that good performance can be achieved for a number of different approaches using DAOS but that interface choice and configuration do impact achievable I/O bandwidth.
