 n\nLawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has multiple openings for a Data 
 Science Workflows Architect in Berkeley, CA.\n\nDuties: Support scientists
  at experimental facilities using supercomputing resources at the National
  Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC). The workflows from e
 xperiment facilities typically involves data movement, real-time data proc
 essing, data storage and management and scaling scientific codes to cuttin
 g-edge computing architectures. Work closely with company’s user community
  to adapt and optimize their computing needs for HPC systems. Work with do
 main scientists to utilize HPC resources at NERSC. Educate and train users
  by holding training classes, creating content for the NERSC website with 
 online tutorials and documentation, giving presentations, and attending co
 nferences. Communicate with users about new opportunities and capabilities
  in software and systems and advise them in effectively transitioning to n
 ew technologies. Configure the user environment on NERSC supercomputers to
  maximize scientific productivity for the user community. This includes de
 fining the default development environment for ease of use and performance
 , selecting and maintaining a productive set of tools, choosing job schedu
 ling parameters and queues to meet user needs, and monitoring system perfo
 rmance from an application perspective. Communicate clearly to both domain
  scientists and computer systems engineers, explaining the subtleties of u
 sing an HPC system and translating scientific requirements into computing 
 needs.\n\nBenefits: This full salary range of this position is between $12
 7,392 to $214,980 year depending upon candidates' full skills, knowledge, 
 and abilities, including education, certifications, and years of experienc
 e.\n\n
