SUMMARY:Client Service Specialist
DESCRIPTION:Acts as primary incident coordinator for HPC Client Services, 
 responsible for client engagement and administration, incident triage, ref
 erral to other analysts as appropriate and resolution of incidents.\n\nThe
  Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) seeks a Client Service Specialist to supp
 ort the overall mission of the High Performance Computing (HPC Client Serv
 ices Group and in particular act as the primary incident coordinator. OSC 
 accelerates discovery for Ohio's academic and commercial researchers by pr
 oviding accessible, reliable and secure high performance computing power a
 t a fraction of the cost of alternatives, along with expert consultation a
 nd secure storage.\nThe HPC Client Services Group delivers the client expe
 rience at OSC through client engagement and administration. As a Client Se
 rvice Specialist, this person is responsible for client incident triage, r
 eferral to other analysts as appropriate and resolution of incidents.\nRes
 ponsibilities of the position include:\n• Works with the rest of the OSC t
 echnical team to deliver a smooth client experience.\n• Participates in OS
 C projects as directed.\n• Informs clients of service issues through OSC w
 eb and social media outlets.\n• Creates and updates user documentation whe
 n needed.\n• Analvzes incident records and job statistics to identify defi
 ciencies in incident processes,\nOSC services, client training and analysi
 s tools, and assists in improvements where appropriate.\nThe Client Servic
 e Specialist will report to the HPC Client Services Manager at the Ohio Te
 chnology\nConsortium (OH-TECH) main office located on Ohio State Universit
 y's West Campus.\n\n
