Powerful Women, Powerful Machines: Nominate an Emerging Woman Leader

The Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on High Performance Computing (ACM SIGHPC) recognizes the exceptional contributions of female professionals in the field of high-performance computing (HPC) through their annual Emerging Woman Leader in Technical Computing (EWL/TC) Award. This prestigious accolade celebrates the accomplishments of mid-career women who have made significant advancements in the areas of HPC research, education, or practice. By highlighting the achievements of these notable women, the EWL/TC Award aims to inspire and empower the next generation of female leaders in the HPC field.

Nominations are being accepted until June 30, 2023.

The most successful nominations draw attention to the candidate’s impact on the field of HPC both in terms of technical contributions to the state of the industry, as well as service and mentoring activity. Past recipients of the award stand as outstanding examples of success that have helped shape the future of HPC, and cultivated a more diverse, inclusive, and innovative environment.

If you know any women who fit the description above, we encourage you to nominate them and recognize the work done by these current and future leaders of the industry.
